The Stratford Depot at Avenue Farm, Stratford Upon Avon, required a comprehensive roof replacement to improve insulation and structural integrity. T&S Environmental was tasked with removing the existing roof sheeting and installing insulated KS1000RW Roof Panels. This project highlighted our capability to deliver efficient and safe roofing solutions that meet high industry standards.
The project involved removing the existing roof sheeting and re-instating the roof with insulated KS1000RW Roof Panels, featuring multiple panels from eaves to ridge with a 150mm end lap. Key challenges included ensuring safety during roof works and managing materials on-site effectively.
A detailed site assessment identified the need for robust safety measures and efficient material management. The old roof sheeting needed careful removal to avoid disrupting depot operations, and new materials had to be installed to meet current building standards.
Site Setup: Temporary fencing and welfare facilities were installed, and site inductions were conducted for all personnel.
Safety Measures: Scaffolding was erected around the building, and a crash deck was installed to ensure safety during roof works.
Material Management: Roof materials were delivered and stored on-site, ensuring an efficient workflow during the replacement process.
