Health & Safety Policy & Objectives

Within the structure of our company we have a very dedicated management team who rate their responsibilities for health and safety the same as their responsibilities for production and costs of the company. With the fall financial backing of the Managing Director, it ensures that health and safety is of paramount importance and that all works are carried out in a safe and compliant manner.

With a vast array of health and safety courses affiliated to Construction Skills and Asbestos courses by way of UKATA/IATP, ensures that all training is undertaken in full accordance with  Regulatory requirements and good practice.

Our company is always actively working towards a better industry standard for health and safety with regards to both the asbestos and demolition divisions. As a high risk trade we ensure that all processes are controlled to the highest degree, adopting a pro-active rather than a re-active approach to all contracts. Risk assessments place a key role in identifying the control measures required to ensure that our works progress safely. All risk assessments are carried out site specific, which helps to formulate a thorough plan of works.

With our membership to highly recognisable health and safety bodies such as ROSPA and BSC, ensures that we have access to a wealth of competent advice and services. And with a very stringent auditing system from the likes of CHAS, Safecontractor, Achilles UDVB, Exor and Construction Line ensures that our paperwork is of the highest standard required.

It has always been our belief that “Understanding, communication and careful, diligent planning will reap its own reward”.

We as an organisation invest in the health & safety and welfare of our employees and others associated with our works. We promote the well being of individuals within the industry and actively contribute to the improvement of industry standards.

As asbestos contaminated ground becomes an ever increasing problem, having employees fully trained in such works ensures that it can be dealt with correctly and efficiently, we are able to mobilise all the required equipment directly to site for a prompt service.

Having a waste transfer licence ensures that we can deal with most aspects of transporting hazardous waste to the correct landfills and completing all duty of care notes for inclusion in your CDM files.
